Cancellation Policy for South Africa Experiences

At South Africa Experiences, we understand that plans can change unexpectedly. Our cancellation policy is designed to offer flexibility while ensuring fairness to both our guests and our service providers. Please read the following policy carefully before booking your trip.

1. General Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation More Than 30 Days Before Arrival: If you cancel more than 30 days before your scheduled arrival date, you will receive a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
  • Cancellation 15-30 Days Before Arrival: If you cancel between 15 and 30 days before your scheduled arrival date, you will receive a 50% refund of the total booking amount.
  • Cancellation Less Than 15 Days Before Arrival: If you cancel less than 15 days before your scheduled arrival date, no refund will be issued.

2. Non-Refundable Deposits

Certain packages or special promotions may require a non-refundable deposit. In such cases, the deposit amount will be clearly stated at the time of booking and will not be refunded under any circumstances.

3. Modifications to Booking

  • Changes More Than 30 Days Before Arrival: If you wish to modify your booking (e.g., change dates or accommodation) more than 30 days before your arrival, we will do our best to accommodate your request without additional charges, subject to availability.
  • Changes Less Than 30 Days Before Arrival: Modifications requested less than 30 days before arrival may incur additional charges and will be subject to availability.

4. Special Circumstances

In the event of extenuating circumstances such as natural disasters, pandemics, or travel bans, we will review cancellations and modifications on a case-by-case basis. Our priority is the safety and well-being of our guests, and we will strive to offer fair solutions.

5. No-Shows

If you do not arrive on the scheduled arrival date without prior notification, the entire booking amount will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued.

6. Group Bookings

For group bookings of more than 10 people, a separate cancellation policy may apply. Please refer to your group booking agreement or contact our customer service team for specific details.

7. How to Cancel or Modify Your Booking

8. Refund Process

Refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of booking.

We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen events that may result in cancellation or modification of your travel plans.
